    Hello everyone,

Just received this coin and wanted to show it to you all and get some other opinions on it. It is my first CC coin and it amazing knowing the history of these GSA coins what all they went through since 1884. It really is holding a peice of history in your hand.

Let me know what you think of the coin, and also the photography, this is my first real attempt at photographing coins.

Nice CC , yours seems to be in pretty good shape for an '84 . I'd guess MS-63 . Hard to tell from your scan , they seem to accent hits and rubs . Still a nice pick up .

You need to capture the lighting better in order to capture the luster.

I have a 1884 CC graded by NGC in MS64. It one of two CC dollars that I have and I really enjoy it also. Congratulations on your new addition and for taking a pretty good photograph.

Looks like a nice coin. Id say a solid 63+ from those pics.

1884 CC Morgan and 1882 CC Morgan GSA with paperwork

Hi, 1882 CC silver dollar reverse.jpg I just purchased the 1884 cc and 1882 cc for $160 each. The 1884 cc is on its way but I've attached a picture of the 1882. Love having it. 1882 CC silver dollar in GSA Holder.jpg

I'm pretty confidant that your GSA CC has plenty of luster even though your photo doesn't show it. It looks pretty nice to me, and I'd say it would grade MS64.

Sorry, but I was referring to fluffy's 84-CC. Your photos are too small for me to see anything. I tried enlarging it, but it became to blurry.

the '84-CC is probably an MS63 coin. Pretty many bag marks on the have of lady liberty, and the reverse chest feathers of the eagle are a bit dull. On a bad day for a TPG, it might even get an MS62. :(
