Here is a neat VAM which I ID'd today. An 1883-O, VAM-24 in AU58ish condition. Doubling on the reverse with emphasis on the bow-wreath. Thanks for looking Ben
Bonedigger, You've given this coin an AU58ish. It's a beautiful coin and certainly has a lot of scratches, but I see no wear. I 'm not tring to start an argument, I'm trying to understand something. Could this coin, lets say with "no" wear be concidered AU and not BU just because of the excessive scratches? Thanks in advance for the education and certainly Happy New Year!!
It might be BU/MS, but the breast feathers look a little smooth to me and don't show the frost I've seen on other MS coins. If it's MS, then how about MS-61/62? Thanks for looking Ben
Well Guys, if ya'll think so, I'll mark the flip as such. Apopreciate everyone's opinions. Happy New Year Ben
thanks for posting. i can't tell from the breast that there is wear...is all the rim luster intact?...could go 60/61 due to being baggy but can't discern luster breaks from photo....
