What's the value/what would I expect to pay for a 1883 no cents Liberty Nickel graded MS64 by NGC?

That variety of coin would be worth around $200.00 in that condition, but may go for more if it is a well struck example.

Are you sure about that 3 out of the last 4 heritage auctions for the no cents coins went for less than $100. I would say the average price is about $65. Just looking at the auctions on heritage.

I'd call it in between 60-80, and no more than $100 at the very outside for a 64*.

Thanks for the info. I'll try and get one for less than $70, it should make a nice Xmas present for myself :)

Depends on how the coin looks, but I'd estimate it would sell to a collector for roughly $75.

    FWIW, I spent $105 for this 63:

Paid a premium for the color (and likely the OGH as it was on a Teletrade auction).

The point being, for a "nice" coin, sometimes guides aren't right (or maybe I just overpaid :) )....Mike

Of the 8 they have sold at Heritage (NGC 64), 6 went from $45 to $64, $81, and $110. Do not know enough to tell you why the 2 high ones.
