1883/2 shield nickle maybe?

Here;s a 1883 shield nickle that may be a 83 over the 2 variety, I received this coin about 40 years ago from my aunt that use to own a grocery store in the big apple. I really haven't done to much resarch on it so what do tou think it is , Ithink i know what it i ,but i want my coin friends to give there opinion on it .

Yours looks to be the narrow logotype, thus 1882 filled 2.

 

Acanthite pointed out a good page. Here is a auction for 1883/2 coin. You will notice how prominent the 3 is and that is true on all 1883/2's. The 2 is feint in all the examples I have seen. You can use the web site posted or the cherry pickers guide to see the various examples.
