I picked this up on eBay the other day. I thought it was interesting but am questioning the reverse toning, which is probably why PCGS gave it questionable color. The obverse is very pretty and heck, I like blue toners.

What say you guys AT/NT, like/dislike?

Reverse color looks like it flowed on to the coin - no smooth transition.

Like a chemical was used? From what I can see of the edges, there appears to be breaks in the color, parts of the edges are untoned.

Someone painted the reverse with a chemical to try to produce the look of peripheral toning. You can tell be the hard and irregular edges. Look at the edge at the bottom of the Wreath. Also notice how IGWT lies just outside the edges of the toning? Totally AT and applied.

The reverse does not follow the color progression.

I agree with the PCGS grade. It's AT.

Cool cool I was suspicious of the reverse but whatever I thought it was cool. The first two questionable color coins I bought worked out. I was bound to find a dud eventually.
My avatar coin was in a PCGS questionable color slab. It is now in an NGC MS64 slab. Thanks for the replies.
