Hello Everyone. I am a complete novice when it comes to coins. I recently got an 1882 Morgan dollar from my Grandma and something seems amiss. The top side of the front of the coin (the top of the lady's head) is in line with the bottom of the coin (the one dollar lettering) on the back side. Is this a misprint, or is this how they were made? Thanks
Howdy afenn - Welcome to the Forum !! Take a look at any coin in your pocket - you'll find the same thing. That is how they were made.
