I am about 52 Morgans of various condition. I would like to get some of them graded, but with the cost of grading I would like to get some opinions.http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeontkz/id3.html
I think the costs of getting that coin graded out weigh the benefits. Even if the coin grades MS-64 its only worth roughly $60. If the coin means something to you and feel as if this will better protect the coin I would say its worth slabbing.
They made 8 million and 900 thousand of them. 8.900,000 Unless you find an overdate I wouldn't pay to slab it. Sometimes ANACS runs a special and will slab Morgans for $10 each. Out of those 8,900,000 there were 2 main varieties. 80 over 79 and 0 over 9 Both are difficult to see, but look at the last two numbers of the date and see if you can pick out any irregular lines.
