Finally got around to taking pictures of my Morgans. I'm going to post a lot of them here for grade opinions.
I have got to go with the 65 also. 2 questions; I gather these are raw coin and we are not trying to guess what some TPG graded it? You tired of grading Lincolns?
65. 1 question: What are you doing messing with Morgan's ? I've thought of putting more into them vs. the cents...... at least with them you have a base value dicated by silver, and they cost roughly the same as these dang cents that everyone (including me) are hooked on.
Yes, these are raw in Airtites. Never tired of grading Lincolns! I've just never taken pictures of my Morgans until last night and wanted some other opinions besides my own. I have a good number of them so this will be going on for awhile.
Actually, I'm not an active Morgan collector. I just have a bunch of them I that my Grandfather gave me many years ago. Been thinking of selling a few to fund the Lincolns. LOL
64 - same basic reason as the '81-S. Though in this case the coin just doesn't have the luster to warrant a 65.
I can't bring myself to dip Grandpa's coins. He started collecting Morgans in the 1940's and is still alive and kicking at 97 today. These are about as original as you can get and I like 'em that way.
