While s l o w l y going thru my Morgan Dollars I'm trying to check each one for VAM characteristics. Some are downright imaginary (IMHO) and some are really cool. Here is one I think is a VAM-70 Double date very nice grade, 1880-S.

    Thanks for Looking

Nice one Ben. I need to go through my Morgans as I get them. I already have one, an 1897 ANACS AU53 VAM 7. I tried to post a few pics but my mBs were over the limit.

    nice

Very nice morgans. Iv'e got to ask, are these Morgans a recent addition to your collection or some you have had for a while?

If within the past 5 years is recent, then yes some are recent. About 1/2 of what I've got (212) were my dads.

Thats a good start!;) I just love the sight of piles of morgans.
You know if you keep getting more Morgans that will take time away from your busts. LOL
Thats the problem I have with collecting my Morgans. I try and fill holes, then another coin catches my eye so I pursue it. Besides picking up a few odd coins I am starting another set of Franklins. it's
    always something.:thumb:
