I would like some feedback on the 1880 O. I am terrible at grades and don't have any coins with TPG grading. This Morgan looks to have all original detail and no wear. But, it does have tarnish or toning. Is it still something that could grade high?

I can not see the surfaces well to see if there is any hairlines or if it’s been dipped in the past but looks like AU-58 to me . It looks like it’s seen a little circulation but not much

I think it would be AU. Small time wear, and the lost luster are the contributing factors. Either way, I just adore O mint Morgans.

What’s going on under the “In” in IGWT?

There is some gunk there. I hadn't noticed it but it is soft and not damaging.

I just cant tell from the pictures. Maybe high AU. It’s possible it could be MS.

The TPGs are also very sensitive to the rim on these Morgans. Those small bumps/nicks on the obverse rim at 9 oclock could even get a details label.
