1880 Morgan VAM ?

I want this but is it worth the price ? I have not been able to find the VAM ? Thought's ? I've gone to VamWorld but no luck yet ?

Thanks Rick I'm not the expert and I just didn't know how to start with this.

 

Is it worth $40 to buy it ? I know the cost for grading it but could send it in with other coins I have that I can send in too.

I sure would like a full pic of the date. If that's a vam 7, in that condition, you just hit paydirt. Its a rare bird, especially in higher grades and well well well worth a mere $40

Not necessarily. It could be an LDS of v7 that experienced a clash event. Anyway, who knows what we're even seeing in the 8. It could be a phantom artifact of the photo

 

How much later of a die state do we need ( vam 7 ) not a clash anywhere ...

 

Here, let me help you out . Can't get much clear then these clashes on OP coin ( 50A ) .

 

Don't want to forget this clash either .

 

Not saying you aren't on to something with 51A but always question! I'd like to know what's going on with that 8 and pics of the areas of other pups on v7 and 51A for that matter to rule them in or out. The rotated wing clash in that area under the chin is somewhat unique. But still, question everything. Plus we are dealing with sub-par pics and no reverse pics. Is there a rotated neck / chin clash on the reverse that matches 51A?
