1880-cc Morgan ??? Latest purchase so where's the grade

    Works for me it was cheap,was hoping for no details but the lot was good overall

    I'm not very good at this yet, but I'd say definitely cleaned and I'd be worried about where it was dropped on the reverse rim. Still, it's a pretty coin and would likely do well at an auction or on Ebay if you ever decided to resell at a later date. Just not sure that I would send it in for grading.

    Cleaned. XF details. Yes, CC dates are good to have, but cleaned coins are severely devalued. One can get a nice, uncirculated on of that date for $500.

    Nice cleaned coin , I agree with High XF Details . If it was mine I'd put it in a manilla envelope and let it get some color .

    I'll be slightly contrarian here - while I agree it has the appearance of having been cleaned, on the other hand, in terms of wear, I'd say it might grade out as a low end AU.

    I agree , I can see AU-50 without the cleaning . Still a nice date and coin .
