    This was in the same box. I’ve hardly touched the box and I’ve found all kinds of nice coins in there. It’s an 1880-CC 8/7 with the third reverse. Their are several known varieties of this overdate. In hand it’s very clear with the tip of the lower 7 just showing under the second 8. You can see it in the second photo if you look in the right spot. It cost me a little over $200.00 for it.

    Wow, nice uncirculated example of the 8/7. Reverse is virtually perfect. Obverse has some chin chatter, but would get the cc bump to 63 in my book.

    I would get it certified. It is a better date, nice variety in solid MS condition.

    Not high on my list but I probably will grade her. Just wish those marks on her face would clear up. Darn acme. Lol
