1880-0 morgan... ms-65???

    hello...


    I was wondering if anyone could help me on the grade of this coin.... the case says ms-65 it might be close.. maybe 64?? im not sure.. was hoping maybe some of you out there could help with this!!

    I think that looks like an off brand slab---I would suggest you only buy coins graded by NGC/PCGS/ANACS/ICG.
    These photos are too small to grade the coin by.

    I would not grade it 65 from these pic, but it look like a very nice coin and may be worth having it graded at NCG or one of the other reputable grading companies. By the way who did grade this coin.

    was graded buy some company called cggi ??? i cant even find anything on the web about them!!! some backyard grader im sure

    I'd suggest "Crack It Out, Leave It Out, and mark it MS-64."

    Based on the last pic, I don't think it will grade any higher than a 62, based on the marks in front of the face, on the face etc. I also wouldn't be surprised if it got body bagged for altered surfaces(Hopefully I am wrong about both). Please let us know.

    It means the coin was wiped, cleaned, dipped, etc. Kind of hard to tell from the pics. Let us know what ANACS grades.
