    I have always had a tough time looking at scans of coins and determining grade. Although I am not surprised by an AU grade, the coin looks a like its a tad undergraded to my eye and I would think it could easily grade around a 55 or 58.
    Either way, it is a nice 1879s Rev78 that you have.
