Are the scratches on the case? This one is a toughie. I'll go 62 a nice chance at a 63. Nice Morgan BTW. I'm debating though if it has been cleaned though. I am not that well at spotting cleaned coins unless it is SUPER obvious. It is a very nice Morgan, nonetheless.

I grade it at MS62....the face has too many marks to go any higher IMHO.
Nice coin!....I wouldn't say that it has been cleaned---dipped more than likely, but then you would be hard put to find one that hasn't been dipped as it has been guessed that 90% of all silver coins have been dipped at one point in time!

The 1979-O is very price sensitive in higer grades, and starts making some big dollar jumps in MS grades. I like the color of the coin, but it does have a lot of bagmarks. I would say its MS-61.

I like the coin as an MS 61 but would not be the least suprised if ANACS gave it a 62.

 

old anacs ms 62...keep in mind that i'm shrinnking nice 512mb photos, so when you see these posted...the marks are quite magnified...all the postings members have a tendency to reflect that. even the smallest knicks can really seem bad.
