Hi Guys! Just bought a mixed lot of coins on Craigslist for $40 and one of the coins is this 1879 Morgan Dollar in fine condition. Any ideas as far as rarity or value? Coin (Instagram)
Based on the obverse photo only (we really need both sides to give an accurate grade)...I would say this coin is VF. So, their grading is a little low...unless the reverse changes that. This is a common date Morgan and in VF the coin is worth melt. Right now, melt is $16.49.
