1879 Cc Capped Ngc Ms 62

    I think it is graded accurately at 62. The hit on the face is pretty severe and should keep it from grading any higher.

    It's a nice coin though.

    I think that the coin is fine as-is. Who cares what NGC graded the coin. The most important question is -- do YOU like the coin?

    Unless the coin has well above average luster, I don't think it has a shot at upgrading.

    It could be a MS-63. But then again, it might not. If you resubmit it you might still be stuck with a MS-62 and then have to pay a resubmission fee. What grade were you expecting?

    I'd do it if it weren't for the hit on the cheek. Leave it...it won't upgrade.
