1878 Trade Dollar Real? or fake?

    I would like to email someone in the group that can help scans of a trade dollar that I bought for scrap. It weighs over 27 grams. Please help me I would like to sell it but do not want to sell a fake.

    Crude Fake. Just compare the reverse lettering to a pic of a real one.

    Trade dollars are an oft-counterfeited species. If you ever want to buy one for your collection, go with a certified slab.
