1878-S Morgan Dollar - Confirmation of VAM-46

I have matched the markers to VAM-46, so far as I can determine. Do the Morgan masters here concur? @Dave Waterstraat @rmpsrpms

Imho, interesting. I do see what looks like a the shape of a chocolate chip on the eyelid. Not sure if the other markers match up. Leaving this one to the experts

Yes, VAM 46. You can see the die break starting to form on the wreath near the N in UNITED. This becomes a rather deep chunk taken out of the die (large, raised bump on the coin) on the latest die stages of VAM 46A.

Thank you, @messydesk. I’m checking it out. I’m currently in the process of re-imaging all my Morgan and Peace Dollars with my System-3, so any that stand out along the way are going to get vammed. I’ll probably post more during the next couple of weeks, hopefully.
