I may bid or just buy this 1878 Morgan dollar.
I have to use auction photos seller has not noted it could have a 7 over 3 tail feathers reverse .
Do you think this Morgan dollar be a 7 over 3 reverse ?

Distracting rim dingy at 12:00 on the reverse. Just sayin'. As to the designation, I'm not an aficionado so I can't offer an opinion.

Also. What's with the '7' on the obverse?

Angelo, based on the tail feathers underneath, it looks like it could be the VAM-44A, but I don't see any evidence of the clash.

:DBut may just bid or buy if the money doesn't to high for it!
1878 Morgan dollar is 1 everyone needs type sets and starter sets?
So I know I can sell it or trade it if not what it looks like.

I don't don't have the answer but with both marks or damage ? Most likely a few 1878 Morgan dollars crashing in mint bag or mixed date bag.
    It's Au-50-58 not gem Bu . If a Vam 44a worthy a try to buy! :).
