Please give your opinions on photo & grading. I'm trying to improve my photos! This is a 1878 Morgan with 7 tail feathers, 2nd Reverse (parallel feather in fletching on arrow. Thanks!
The pics look pretty good, I would suggest croping the coin, and maybe making the pics a little bigger.
Not sure I understand...the file size is near 250kb..about the max as far as the forum allows. I can magnify pics to show important details..is this what you mean by cropping?
I dont know too much about the technical stuff but I have put pics larger than 250 kb on the site before (I know it says limit 250) and cropping is just using the croping tool to cut out the coin from the original pic.
Not dust...definitely marks. But they seem to be more apparent in the photo. Overall, I think MS63 is about right..
:thumb: Very good pics :thumb: Much better than mine are. This only suggestion I have is to support the coin on a dowel against a black background. This will eliminate the background. What I did is to drill a hole on a block of wood to insert the dowel. Put black fabric (with slit for dowel) and then the dowel (half inch). Still nice pic and MS63 morgan
