    All,

I recently cherry picked a 1878 8TF VAM 9A at a local coin show, my question is does PCGS recognize this coin as VAM 9 for their attribution since 9A is not listed. Secondly, is there a difference in value between 9 and 9A.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

    Thanks,

    Swerths

PCGS will label this VAM 9. There's no difference in value between the two, and most collectors of 8TF varieties are content having one or the other.

    Congrats on a nice cherrypick!
