Looking for opinions in reguards to grade/value,the coin has nice luster, but the pics don't show it. I'm working on that. Thanks in advance!

IMO the coin has too much wear (I see it as VF) to have naturally "nice luster".
I would suspect that it's been cleaned.
If I'm correct then it's value is down around $20 ... and that's only if you accept cleaned coins in your collection.

Nice die crack on the reverse.

Thanks Kanga, I also figured it as vf wich tells me that I'm learning something. And also thanks for pointing out that die crack, I meant to ask about that when I posted. I wasn't sure if that's what it was or just a scratch. I still have a lot to learn. As far as a cleaning,I am up in the air about that. I figured maby it was dipped, but wouldn't a harsh cleaning destroy the luster? Anyway,it wouldnt suprise me if it has been. I got it with some other coins that I posted in the general discussions section, and it is obvious that someone scrubbed the heck out of the half soverign. If someone would do that to a gold coin,I guess they would do it to this one also. Anyway the way I see it this one was a freebie,so at $20. I'm still ahead. I was thinking about selling this one at some point, that's why im seeking info,I do not want to screw anyone. Thanks for the reply.--Dennis
