1877 coin--Help

    I do not know much about this coin other than it is very interesting upon close reveiw. Particular to the man and woman above the big bird in the little hut.

    I'll be, it is a coin. Basically a 50 cent piece from Germany. Krause lists the value at $40 in that condition.
