1876 seated liberty quarter. struck through?

the wear on the fields is really weird. like its wrinkled, but it doesnt pass through the devices. is this just normal? doensnt look like any of the other circulated coins from that era that i have. thanks guys.

the obverse is not quite as pronounced. but the same "wrinkles" in the fields.

 

I'm not really sure. I was drawn to this thread because an 1876 Seated Liberty Quarter was the first coin I owned.

It looks like it's been through the hands of many and dropped by many for 186 years, imho.

 

I have never owned a seated liberty quarter, let alone a seated liberty coin... I like the design but never can find them for a decent price. I would love to add one to my collection some day.

 

I am a gonna guess it is a dug coin, I have seen others like the op that were found by metal detectors.
