1876 seated liberty quarter. struck through?

    the obverse is not quite as pronounced. but the same "wrinkles" in the fields. IMG_1634[1].jpg IMG_1635[1].jpg IMG_1637[1].jpg

    I'm not really sure. I was drawn to this thread because an 1876 Seated Liberty Quarter was the first coin I owned.

    It looks like it's been through the hands of many and dropped by many for 186 years, imho.

    I have never owned a seated liberty quarter, let alone a seated liberty coin... I like the design but never can find them for a decent price. I would love to add one to my collection some day.

    I am a gonna guess it is a dug coin, I have seen others like the op that were found by metal detectors.
