1875 Gold liberty half eagle cc $5

Hello everyone I tried to shrink down my pics of this coin to post but I can't figure this out. This coin
came out of a necklace holder and is in mint condition. I was wondering if anyone can help me with
what they think it could be graded or worth. I have been doing some research on this coin and found it to be pretty rare! I have not really found one on the net to compare, I think I have a gem. I am new to this so anything will help thanks! Tommy

Hello and welcome to the fourm JennaTy.
I am sorry to say but most if not all coins mounted in a bezel for jewlery purposes are considered
not gem or even uncirc for that matter. Perhaps on rare occasion if the coin had never been worn by a person of normal metabolic activity. The salts on the skins surface, the persperation, potential showers with soap and shampoo....who knows what that coin has gone through.
Perhaps you might take it to dealer and get their opinion before you get to excited!

I have a similar coin in the exact same situation...it will always be worth it gold content value!!
