Hello CT friends! I need a Indian Head expert....I have a 1874 with a nice little die gouge just left of the eye. First question, does anyone know it this is listed error? My only source is the Cherrypickers guide and there is no mention of it there. I have 1902 FS-401, snow 4 with die gouge eye that looks somewhat similar. Second question, if there is no info on this gouge, would this gouge be substantial enough to warrant a new variety? (error)
Here's a couple pics and a pic of my 1902 FS-401. Thanks in advance for any info and you guys ROCK!

I looked at my older Rick Snow books and don't see one listed.

Thanks Idhair, I need to correct the wording in my post, meant to say possible new Error and not new Variety. ( I now know the difference now );)
