That's a good find assuming the color is original. Those photos look like they need the white balance adjusted
That is the exact reason why I always look in old cash registers when I'm trashing out buildings for cause you never know what you might find.
thanks, yea I live in Fort Lee, NJ, lots of business people, and rich people in the high rises constantly throwing great stuff away, pretty cool what you find inside stuff.
Thats cool I live in Mingo Jct. OH, and its a great place to go metal detecting since there are a lot of old places around but i rarely get a chance to trash out any buildings that have cash registers but I have trashed out plenty of houses
oh my friend you would have a picnic here in jersey, I am a scraper to aluminum, copper, mostly microwaves, computers, etc. right now prices at scrapyard down copper is slowly coming back up, you trash out places so you know the deal.
when aluminum go's back up again, I will start collecting all the cans again, I live in a complex of 26 buildings 45 apartments in each building I am friends with maintenance guys, security, and porters so i get enough scrap all the time. i hope for you the same.
Well my dad works for government housing and with me doing private homes on top of that I usually get a good bit of scrap plus whatever else he or I get to keep lol.
The two cent is one of my favorite collections. A lot of history, and one of the shortest lived series. I like to encourage others to collect them.
my brother is a retired deputy chief from the police department but before that he worked in the bank, imagine all the coins being put in safe deposit boxes and also all the coins that come in from armored trucks, I could never have that job lots of temptation, and bank america and cvs are right outside my door so you know I am getting rolls from both, always nice finds in them. hope you get a great find!
