1870 Indian Cent

I've never seen one like this.

    I wish I had 1870s in better grade VF.

    I'm trying to collect all of my Indian Cents close to VF.... except for my 1877. I couldn't afford more than a G08

    Nice coin! Question? Is this a shallow or Bold "N" variety and do you collect the different varieties ( 1864 with "L" and without for example).

    The reverse looks like it may have a planchet defect like delamination.
    From the edge to the top of the C to bottom of the E, but also on the O above the other line of C-E. I would put my guess on a lamination error.
