    Folks,

I have owned this nickel for quite a while. I picked it up in my youth. It was more of a "gut feeling" buy than educated (no one has ever done that, right?). This has been stored in this hard plastic holder since I bought it.

At this point, trying to divest myself of these old collection niceties, I really can't put my finger on a grade or value for this one. What say the intelligentsia of this forum?

Regrets for not being a better photographer. It's the best I can do with my equipment and lighting at work.

    Z

Nice details, but flat, dull coin, so I'd guess it was cleaned prior to you owning it, as I know you wouldn't clean a coin. I guess it could be environmental damage from improper storage. Reminds me of aluminum coins. Just my observations.

To me, this one is a headscratcher.
