1868 Shield Nickel

    AG details corroded and damaged. Worth maybe a couple of bucks at best. I don't see anything special on it like a DDO.

    Doubled Die Obverse. Typically it is around the annulet. The other major varieties are the missing leaf and repunched dates. I do not see any of these varieties.

    excuse me for sounding so novice (for i am learning myself)...but 1868 shield nickels are known for errors?

    i think i might have one or two in my collection, if so, i might have to double check them.
