1868 Shield Nickel

    This has surface issues, but I believe it is authentic suffering from a hard life. Research indicates it has the Reverse of 1868/FS-901, please correct me if that is wrong. IGWT and the date are rough from corrosion, but it has plenty of eye appeal and detail.

    I scrounged up a lot of info on the dies used in '67, '68 and '70 about the master dies with broken letters and the star alignments. Anyone see anything else from this one? Hope you enjoy...Spark
