i aquired this nickel and have confirmed it as a variety 3...i paid $15! the cherrypickers guide gives it a $200 value @fine condition. But this was a publication from years past. Has the value of my nickel changed in the past years since the book was published? thanks
Nice rip, Delta. There is a rumor that Bill Fivaz is updating The Cherrypicker's Guide. Not sure if it is Vol. I (that includes nickels) or not but I suspect it is because Vol.I is several years older than Vol. II. If a new edition is released I am sure it would inclued updated pricing. You could also check auction results on eBay and Heritage.
