1868 Doubled Die Obverse Nickel

    I cherry picked this one last weekend at a show I was at. It's listed as 1868 CONECA 1-O-III, BREEN 2477, FS-003 strong doubling on annulet, upper leaves, arrows and north on cross.

    The place you see it best is in the circle at the top of the shield.

    It's also clearly visible under the arms of the cross and where the horizontal lines meet the vertical lines in the shield.
