1867 SHIELD 5 CENT missing letter

Hello,
Going through some of the coins I've had, and now looking at different things, this one is missing the letter G in GOD and some of the other letters are messed up too, doubled on the stars and edge, and various places. thanks

150 years of circulation wear and tear can do that to a coin.

I'm looking at the missing G in GOD
Could be a simple Struck through debris that didn't allow the G to form on your coin.

 

I would guess around 75 years, prior to me, my uncle had it approximately 45 years.

 

it kinda looks as if that happened to the the T also

 

My wife gave me this 1902 Nickel she found in a cash register at a supermarket she worked at. It's nice to find these. I wear it now.

 

WOW just as I looked at that, which you/she just gave me a great idea, I was taking pics of a 1907 what a coincidence!
