I just found a 67/67 Indian Head and I would like to know are they common? Is it an error to keep? It is just in G-4 but the error is clear.
Do you mean that you cherrypicked it or what? How did you find the coin? My best guess is that the coin is the rare one and probably worth $50-100. Nice job
Great find. Question is have you checked out the rest of the coin for any signs of doubling? Possibly in that condition I would guess the value at approximately $200 or even more pending the condition of the rest of the coin. Where did you find it? It appears to be better than G4 but from only a small section of the coin it is difficult to tell. Absolutely that is something to keep. I would notify people like Whitman Publishing or coppercoins.com to see if interested in adding the information to the never ending list of error coins.
the rest of the coin is not doubled the Repunched Date(67/67) appears that it is the same error as noted in the cherrypickers guide(thanks to the local coin store for info), it lists it as URS-10 (251 to 500 known), yes it is in G-4 and I have had it for a while in a collection just finaly getting around to look at them. and yes he wanted to buy it!
