1867 2 cents worth

    lookie what i found. the best part is i got it for 50 cents. i also got an 1851 large cent that i am still trying to scan.

    sorry still trying to scan these. i cant get the file size down. i have to scan at 100 dpi. and it is a really bad scan. any help would be accepted. thanx

    Well I would love to help, but my images never come up the way that I want them. I just play around with them until they fit. I am still trying on this avatar. :(

    yeah our scanner is not the greatest. it is a visioneer one touch. i will still try though. these are really cool finds. their is an antique store in the next town and i saw this basket full of coins and started rummaging and found these i might go back and strike up a deal for the whole basket.

    That coin could easily sell in the $30 range.

    thanks. again the scan is no good. this is a sharp coin. where is the double error supposed to be on these coins? it probably isnt on this one but i want to make sure.

    The 1867 doubled die, will have pretty strong doubling around the shield and small doubling on the legend.
