1866 2 cent coin

Just bought this for 3 dollars the other day..... I always wanted one I just like the design ..... Was that a fair price?

The price was fair but a few dollars more could have bought a problem free coin.

 

Now thats something you don't see much of anymore. Its a nice coin to have and the price is good.

A good start. Now you are hooked - I like the design also. If you look around you can find some really nice ones in lower grades for $20 to $40 - except for that nasty old 72 or 64 small motto. Enjoy!

 

I'm going to say it was cheap enough. Now that you have your first two center the bug will bite ya. LOL I've been collecting them for years, love the history of the US in that time period. Here's one that took me many years to find.

 

For 3 bucks you can't go wrong!
