Looking for some info as to the value of this coin. Also, is there any kind of attribution # associated with this specific RPD. Thanks

edit: I don't have a pic of the whole coin but it grades VF30, I added the grade cause I'm assuming it will affect the value.

It appears to be a KF-F2-TPD (from Kevin Flynn's book).
    Fancy 5.
Check to see if there's a die crack from the bottom of "S" of "STATES" through the bottom of "OF".

    Cross References:

    FS2-2.5
    KN2

    Flynn says "rare".
My guess would be about 2x or 3x times normal catalog.

Based on your photo only, it appears to be a 1865, Fancy 5, RPD, FS 1301.
Look at the Cherrypickers Guide, 5th Edition, by Bill Fivaz and J.T. Stanton, on page 168. The pricing shown in VF 20 is $25 for the normal variety, and $50 for the RPD variety. EF40 prices are $41 and $75 for the RPD variety. Keep in mind that those prices are most likely not the most accurate indication of value. Some searching of completed auctions would provide a more reliable value indication.

In Kevin Flynn's book Getting Your Two Cents Worth, starting on page52 the cataloged Fancy 5 repunched varietys are listed. Without a full hi-res picture of both the obverse and reverse determining which Flynn variety you have would be nothing more than a guess as the book shows 18 different possibilities.

Hopefully clembo will weigh in on this thread.
