1865 2 Cent peice Value?

    Around 15-20 dollars (would be a greater value in better condition). 2 Cent pieces are always cool though. P.S. Im in middle school too :)

    Hi AncientRomeCoin,
    This 2 cent piece is nice. It does appear to have rim damage so it probably would only grade genuine. I am not very familiar with these types, and your pictures are a little blurry. So it could be a weak strike or wear, I am just not sure. I am sure however that you got it for a nice price.

    I don't know, but I would think VF20 or 30. Don't know value

    Even with the blurry pics I wouldn't think it would grade no higher than G-4, jmo...

    The rim on the obverse is mostly smoothed into the fields, especially around the 11 and 5 o'clock postions. Definately can't make VF. It would be lucky to make higher than VG08. IMO
