1864 IHC no L doubled date?

    Was wondering if I could get some input on this Indian head cent. The 4 appears to be doubled and there is some strange action going on with the E in one on the reverse. Grade input would be appreciated as well. The coin is not mine...yet.

    Maybe it is a repunched date. Try searching for Snow varieties on line.

    Only date, which was added after the die was made, is doubled. As such, this is not a doubled die; it’s only a double punched date. These are not rare as a group. There are a few varieties of this.
