1864 2 Cents, NGC-AU 58, CAC

I managed to squeeze one last coin for 2024 before I go on vacation. It's a humble brown 2 cents piece in an NGC slab with CAC green bean.





I used to have one a long time ago, so this is adding it back to my collection. I don't think my old one was this nice, it may have been an AU-50.

She may be humble... But she sure is an eye popper.

 

That's a nice AU-58.

 

nice coin. I'm presently looking at this coin and an entry into the two cent/three cent coin area.

 

Au-58's can sometimes be more pleasing than uncirculated examples.....this one fits the bill. My congrats on a most marvelous acquisition.

 

Not too shabby on the photogs either.....
