1864 2 cent rotated 180 degrees!

    I cherypicked this coin today at the shop. It's not in the best condition but what would you guys think it would be worth?

    Rotated dies on the 64 are not really that uncommon but cool. I have one too that I cherrypicked at a show.

    Maybe an extra 5 bucks or so unless sold on ebay as ultra rare.

    Nice find.

    No premium value. (Although you never know what the people on eBay will pay for them.) There is at least one variety of 1864 2 cent that always comes with a 180 degree rotation and it is a very common variety, maybe 5 - 10% of the pieces encountered. I know it can't really be that high unless there is more than one variety, but it seems like it's that common.

    Oh well..I'm gonna keep it anyways....I think it's pretty cool.....
