Hello, Whats up with this 2 cent? It is missing the "A" in america. I am pretty certain it is not worn away. I used a jewelrs loupe and I still couldnt see anything. However, in the second picture I used a flash and adjusted the images brightness and contrast. Now you can see a faint "A". Everything around it is not worn, and there are no scratches where the "A" should be. Is this just a weak strike? Is this unusual? Either way, what do you think the value of this coin is?
Most likely a grease filled die because those letters could not have worn off. Only worth a couple dollars more than its current value. I'd say about $20.00
