1863 Confederate Bond

    I Don't know where else to post this....since It's not really paper money, but close to it I guess. Does anyone know any informarion on this? It's a pair.

    Those are actually bond coupons that were separated from the original bond itself at some point in history. As a whole piece the bonds are worth much more, but the coupons by themselves are modestly priced.

    There are dealers now who are clipping the excess coupons from bonds and selling them individually. IMO, the coupons are of no real value without the bond itself. As an example here's a complete $500 Confederate bond.

    What you have is worth $20-30 to the right collector on a good day.
