I just got this Monday but it looks pretty bad. Is this a good deal or have I wasted my time thinking its worth something?

I only paid 50 cents for it which I know that was a steal but the front and back are faded pretty bad. The date however is easy to see. It looks like its been in circulation since the day it was made but being almost 150 years old it has to be something rare right? And thanks for the welcome.
You have a dime that's "worn slick". They're still worth a buck or two for their silver, so you didn't do too badly.
