    Hello

I have a 1861 penny, it's acctually a Nova Scotia penny since it is before Canada existed(1864). it is fairly worn, but all the details are still visable(sorry no pic). I was just wondering if anyone knew what it is worth, or where I could find out?

If it is the one with the Rose Wreath on the reverse, I sold a not so nice one (some corrosion)on Ebay for $3.25 once. I have no idea what it is worth however.

That's a very common coin. Most collectors of Canadian & provincial coins will have this in their collection.I would like to get the rare New Brunswick 1/2 Cent coin, which is the same design as the Nova Scotian 1/2 Cent coin (which I have).

    Aidan.
