1860-O Seated Dollar on Ebay

    I think it would look pretty much just like the pic. One thing though, and I could be wrong about this since all I have is a pic, but I think PCGS may have made a small oooops - I think the coin is a Proof.

    Um, it must just be PL ...They didn't make any 1860-O proofs....at least i don't think they did....

    You made me go and check - they did, they just didn't mint any at New Orleans :eek: So your correct. It dang sure looks like one though.

    his dscription: "Graded as a MS61 by PCGS, this dollar looks very nice, despite having very baggy fields. Sharp strike with great details. Slab may have as many bag marks as the coin does. White with good luster. have added another set of images, that more accurately show the color as white." says it all, very baggy.
    But, possibly proof-like, not a proof.

    But..........it is a very strong strike, nice piece, but I'd get it re-slabbed. It would probably look nicer

    Nice coin---I can see the PL look to the coin. I wonder why they didn't put that on the grade?

    I don't like the 2 black areas on the reverse. They look like carbon spots. Other than that, I think it would be a nice coin.
