What I can't figure out is why it was given "Genuine/ungradeable" "surface damage". While there is some wear and scratches and it is definatly not MS or even AU I can't see why they would even consider it as problem coin. Please give me your thoughts, at the moment mine are send it to ngc/anacs as I think they would give it a non-problem grade, I just don't see any reason for it to be just "Genuine". Since I have only had a few coins graded in the past I would really like your opinions about spending the money to have it regarded.. Here are the best shots I've been able to get through the slab so far (really need a better lighting setup)

The nasty scratches on Liberty's face might have netted the "Genuine" grade. It's hard to tell from the lighting, but the greenish tinge on the surfaces could be evidence of corrosion as well.

Looks like some fo the scratches are from the slab itself & not on the coin. Only weasel could tell us.

The greenish look though could be the problem. Maybe PVC?
